The Angel Foundation was established in April 1991 by MORINAGA & Co., Ltd. This Foundation is one of the think tanks to contribute to the welfare in the 21st century. The name ANGEL comes from MORINAGA GROUPS' corporate symbol, and it also shows the Foundation's wish to be a good messenger to all people.As the oldest Western confectionery manufacturer in Japan, MORINAGA's motto is "We Offer Good Health with Delight and Taste." The Angel Foundation succeeded this vision of the Company, and has carried out many activities that have something to do with Good Health to people's Mind. Now we emphasize "a sound mind in a sound body," and will extend the Foundation's scope to a Good Health to our Body, too.
"May a sound mind be in a sound body!" - this is a deep-rooted longing of mankind. The Angel Foundation is now making a fresh start to advance Good Health for all people, through the support of MORINAGA GROUPS' food-cultural enterprises. For " a sound mind," we will make a wide range of studies of literature and arts, and for "a sound body," we will examine a lot of different theories of indoor and outdoor sports, and actually exercise them. Besides, we will develop MORINAGA's ANGEL COLLEGE project, so that our children of the new era can grow strong with their mighty spirits, and we can enjoy an active life throughout our own precious lifetimes.
Angels are Good Messengers. We will bring some new totally sound lifestyles to you. And I believe we can be of great service to you through our lively visions. I sincerely hope you will encourage and support our Foundation's activities with your unsurpassed warmth and friendship.

The Angel Foundation was established by MORINAGA & Co., Ltd., whose vivid corporate vision is being expressed in the motto of the Company, "We Offer Good Health with Delight and Taste". The Foundation's activity started in April the 1st, 1991, with its fundamental property 400 million yen. The main aim of the Foundation is to contribute to the 21st century's prosperous lifestyles.
The Angel Foundation's activities are to be based on the following 5 articles.
(1) We shall perform research activities on the prosperous lifestyles in "the age of leisure".
(2) We shall study on the ideal forms of human family.
(3) We shall diffuse the enlightening fruits of the studies mentioned in the article 2.
(4) We shall hold or support the meetings and events as related to the studies or researches mentioned in the articles 1and 2 above.
(5) We shall make other related activities to accomplish the purposes of all the articles described above.
